Certification

       While the basics principles of the FSAP are easy to understand, the application of the FSAP can be complex.  Thus, in order to provide additional training and so that people seeking help for addictions can find qualified FSAP therapists, certification in the FSAP is offered.  List of certified therapists will be provided to people seeking a therapist in their area.


The qualifications for certification are:

1.  Completion of a 2-day FSAP workshop.

2.  8 hours group consultation.

3.  4 hours individual consultation

4.  40 hours of utilizing the FSAP in your practice.

5.  Registration for the certification process.

6.  2 letters of recommendation from other therapists that they feel ethically comfortable referring patients to you for FSAP therapy.
